The role

We’re looking for an experienced engineering leader to drive the development of our jet-powered UAV systems from prototype to pre-series production. You’ll lead technical decision-making, coordinate the engineering team, and ensure the product meets its target performance through rigorous testing and continuous improvement.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development of the jet-powered interceptor and coordinate activities across all project stakeholders.

  • Organize the project engineering team, engage the required specialists, and coordinate collaboration across all contributors.

  • Ensure the manufacturing and assembly of prototypes in accordance with approved engineering drawings and technical documentation.

  • Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure the production of product components and assemblies.

  • Ensure the implementation of engineering solutions and design changes provided by the development team.

  • Organize and conduct ground testing of the product.

  • Organize and conduct flight testing of the product.

  • Ensure the collection, analysis, and communication of test results to the development team for further product improvement.

  • Ensure the UAV meets the approved flight performance requirements.

  • Identify technical project risks in a timely manner and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

  • Coordinate UAV preparation for transition to pre-series production.

  • Ensure the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and test records based on completed activities.

You should apply if you

  • Aerospace Engineering & Design: Knowledge of UAV architecture, jet propulsion systems, control systems, and avionics.

  • Engineering Documentation: Reading, analyzing, and ensuring product compliance with engineering drawings and technical documentation.

  • R&D & NPI: Supporting the product from prototype development through pre-series production.

  • Testing & Verification: Planning, conducting, and analyzing ground and flight test results.

  • Technical Risk Management: Proactive identification and mitigation of design flaws and engineering risks.

  • Technical Documentation: Preparing technical reports, modification records, and test reports.

  • Vendor Management: Defining technical requirements for contractors and ensuring component quality and on-time delivery.

Soft Skills

  1. Engineering Leadership: Coordinating engineering teams, driving technical decision-making, and owning product architecture.

  2. People Management: Building engineering teams and contributing to recruitment and onboarding.

  3. Data-Driven Approach: Making engineering decisions based on telemetry and test data.

  4. Delivery Management: Maintaining a strong focus on clear KPIs and deadlines in fast-paced, time-constrained environments.
